Dr. Clayton Roach has been in chiropractic practice since 2005. He graduated from Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, Missouri with honors and decided to come back home to serve the people of Nova Scotia. Originally from Cheticamp in Cape Breton, Dr. Clayton Roach is bilingual. His focus is on educating his patients about chiropractic and their health in general while solidifying the facts and clearing the myths. This leads to an environment that is conducive to healing and feeling better. He looks forward to meeting you and making your chiropractic experience one that you will value and be grateful for the rest of your life.
Dr. Kaitlyn Pellerine graduated Cum Laude from New York Chiropractic College and is currently completing the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association Diplomate. She is a native Haligonian and received her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Dalhousie University. These studies sparked her interest in biomechanics, the human body and a holistic approach to healthcare. Between her undergraduate and doctorate degrees, she travelled for one year to Australia, New Zealand and Asia.
Dr. Kaitlyn has also shared her expertise in aerobics and weight training by working as a personal trainer and fitness instructor for 10 years. Dr. Kaitlyn received clinical experience at many locations during her internship in Buffalo, NY serving the underprivileged, geriatric, general and student populations. In addition to treating adults with various chiropractic techniques, Kaitlyn’s professional practice will focus on maternal health during pregnancy and pediatric chiropractic. She is passionate about Chiropractic and educating her patients on the importance of a healthy nervous system. During her free time she enjoys hiking, swimming, badminton, yoga and playing music.
Chris McQuaid is a Graduate of Sheridan College in athletic therapy and management. I am originally from Belleville, Ontario but have been in Nova-Scotia for the past twenty years. I was the medical trainer of the Halifax Mooseheads hockey team for the last 15 years. I have gained the respect of many colleagues over the years with my professionalism, knowledge and attention to detail. My focus will now be on laser therapy and the overall health and wellness of our patients. I look forward to making your everyday life pain-free and healthy.
Darlene has been the receptionist at Roach Chiropractic Centre since February 2008. She has been married for 33 years and has two daughters. When not at the office she enjoys cooking, bowling and spending time with her family, especially with her new grandson!
Alicia has been with Roach Chiropractic since February 2009. She graduated from Mount Saint Vincent University in 2004 with honours in history, and moved to PEI for two years. Alicia graduated with her Bachelors of Education in 2007 from the University of PEI. Alicia loves being with her family and enjoying time with her children. At the office she loves the everyday interaction with patients and spreading the word about chiropractic!
Darcie has been a valued member of our chiropractic team since October 2012, working the front desk. She is s small town girl from Lunenburg, who graduated from NSCC-Kentville in 2007 with a Diploma in Financial Services. She moved to Halifax in 2009, working as a bookkeeper. Darcie enjoys spending time with family, friends, and especially her nephew Brody. She also enjoys boating, fishing, reading and exercising! She is a people person, and wants to increase awareness about chiropractic.
Lorrie is our part time chiropractic assistant and she teaches elementary school when she is not at the clinic. Originally from PEI, Lorrie received her Bachelor of Kinesiology degree from the University of New Brunswick and went on to pursue a Bachelor of Education, graduating with honours. She loves being part of a team and educating others on the benefits of chiropractic care. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband, traveling, golfing and shopping!
